Full-Arch Course: The Team Approach
Overview
This 2-Day, first-of-its-kind, course teaches oral surgeons, restorative doctors, Lab Techs and treatment coordinators the full arch process from record gathering and case analysis, through full arch implant and bone reduction planning, and actual case design in RealGUIDE’s GuidedSMILE Plug-In module. The user will be able to take control of their own cases, from records to design, and even to fabrication, with in-house equipment, or have the ability to upload to GuidedSMILE’s for fabrication. In the simulation lab, surgeons will have the opportunity to place implants with the CHROME GuidedSMILE guide and restoring doctors will be doing a hands-on conversion as well as a Smart Denture pick up.
Overview
At the completion of the program, participants should have a good understanding of:
- Plan and implement full-arch cases.
- Plan and implement guided surgery cases with RealGUIDE’s GuidedSMILE Plug-In module.
- Restorative appointments, maintenance, and restorative complications.
- Best techniques and methods for conversion of full-arch cases.

Speaker Bio: Brent Boyse, DDS
Dr. Boyse received his dental degree from the University of the Pacific – Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Boyse maintains a group practice with an emphasis on full arch immediate load cases and new technologies, in Mesa, Arizona.
Alan Banks, President, GuidedSMILE
Since 2001, Alan has served the dental community through forward-thinking, digital, international companies. As president of GuidedSMILE, Alan manages all aspects of the company. His teams specialize in many areas of dental laboratory technology, with special focus on today’s digital technology, full arch reconstruction, guided surgery, research and development, and optimal clinical solutions. Alan provides technical support to general dentists and specialists throughout the world.
Wayne Szara, CDT
Wayne Szara is a Technical Marketing Manager with ZimVie Dental. He is a 31 year CDT with over 35 years of experience in the dental industry. His programs are presented to oral surgeons, periodontists, general dentists, denturists, dental technicians and even patients. He assists dentists and dental technicians daily with queries about dental implant restorations dentists and dental technicians.
